The earliest prototype of the Visitors series was born in 1996, originally designed by Guido Dele for the opening of the Flanders Cultural Center in Belgium, in ceramic. The works on display are all hand colored using natural paints, and the bronze used as the material is cast using the ancient lost wax method.

The artist blurs the sculpture's human face, seeing the slightly raised belly in the tilt, and its pure expression reflects the group nature of contemporary urbanites, stationary, perplexed, contemplative, but also vaguely expressive of hope for the future. Visitors are welcomed with open arms to anyone, showing kindness and acceptance.
