This work by Marcel Brodeur is still relevant in the present: solving any ingenious, poignant or urgent question about the nature of art and artistic practice today is just a meow away. Brodeur has a keen sense of the times when any serious or philosophical inquiry was doomed to failure. Questions may still be asked, but getting answers is not so easy. And the artist doesn't always have to go looking for answers. But perhaps communication is still possible on a level that the human ear cannot register.
