Born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, he studied at Suzhou Academy of Arts and Crafts, Central Academy of Fine Arts, and graduated from the Young Art League in New York, USA. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association and a national-level artist. With years of continuous exploration and practice in artistic creation, he has created a new modern situation of Wu painting and a new style of ink and water village painting, whose significance has far exceeded the scenery of Jiangnan itself, with the important attributes of retaining nostalgia and passing on humanities, and has been hailed by critics as "the first person to discover Zhouzhuang! Wu Guanzhong called it "innovative". Wu Guanzhong called him an "innovative Chinese painter", and Huang Yongyu praised him as "the man who discovered the golden deer in the forest". His works have been collected by world-renowned museums, and he has been awarded the Fifth Global Chinese Art Salary Award, the Grand Prix des Artistes Indépendants at the Salon de France, the Silver Medal at the Asia-Pacific Art Exhibition in the United States, the Highest Artistic Achievement Award and the Artistic Contribution Trophy issued by the National Museum of Fine Arts of Belarus, and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Order of the Order of the Arts by the Paris Academy of Arts in 2020.
