French-British artist Alice Anderson is dedicated to combining cultural traditions with contemporary transhumanism. Drawing inspiration from dance and performance art, she creates sculptures, paintings and drawings that combine the "spiritual" (the human body) with the "material" (tools, digital products and technological support).
One of the few artists to create paintings and sculptures during performance, Anderson reimagines and rethinks the linear connection between consciousness, the body, and the machine, what she calls "human/non-human interaction." In 2020, Anderson was nominated for the Marcel Duchamp Prize.
