Born in Wuhan in 1972, he graduated from Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in 1994, and worked at Hubei Fine Arts Academy as the director of oil painting and watercolor studio in 1994, Wuhan Painting Academy as the director in 2014, and Wuhan Museum of Art as the director from 2020 to present. He is a first-class artist, a member of the Artistic Committee of Watercolor Painting of China Artists Association, and vice-chairman of Hubei Artists Association. He is a special professor of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, Hubei University and Central South University. His works have been exhibited in Shanghai Museum, National Art Museum of China, Chiba Art Museum, Wuhan Art Museum, Guan Shanyue Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, Hubei Art Museum and so on.
