This year marks the 56th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, the two sides have continued to promote cooperation in various fields, and the interconnection and mutual understanding in the field of culture and art has also been increasing.
This exhibition follows the success of the "Immortal Inheritance--Invitational Exhibition of Works by Academicians of the Académie des Beaux-Arts de France" (2016), "Immortal Inheritance--Sculpture Works by Academicians of the Académie des Beaux-Arts de France", and "Immortal Inheritance After the success of "Immortal Inheritance--Invitational Exhibition of Sculpture Works of Academicians of the Académie française" (2016) and "Immortal Inheritance--Exhibition of Sculpture Works of Academicians of the Académie française" (2019), classic works of the Academicians of the Académie française are once again on display in China. The exhibition will display 37 sculptures by five academicians of the Académie française, Claude Abbadge, Jean Cardot, Jean Anglais, Antoine Pensé and Brigitte Terziève.
The exhibition is divided into "Symphony of Forms", "Poetry of Reason", "Immortality of Man", "Greatness of Nature", "Abstraction of Mind", "Abstractions of the Heart" and "The Soul". "Abstraction of the Mind" "Soul of the Body" 6 chapters, sculpture academicians to be a holistic display of works and organic comparison. They use sculpture to reflect man and nature, mind and humanity, body and soul, tradition and modernity, highlighting the individualized artistic language and unique style characteristics, showing their exploration and innovation on top of the inheritance of France's profound cultural deposits. The distinctive themes, bold forms, diversified techniques and exquisite skills will bring the audience a classic French art tour.
