Born in 1960 in Dali, Shaanxi Province, Xing Qingren is a member of the China Artists Association, a researcher of the China National Academy of Painting, and the vice chairman of the Shaanxi Artists Association. 1989, his work "Rose-colored Memories" won the Gold Medal at the Seventh National Exhibition of Art Works. He has published "Xing Qingren's Collection of Paintings", "Rose Garden Stories", "The Color of Good Wood", "Grass Painting", "Qingren's Poetry", etc. In 2015, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Affairs, and the China Federation of Literature and Art Societies conferred him with the title of "National Youth and Young Literary Workers of Both Virtue and Excellence", and the National Art Museum of China held the exhibition of "I came from Chang'an I" in 2019.
